Privacy Policy

SpiritLabs Post · Last updated 8 September 2026

This policy explains what SpiritLabs Post collects, why, how long we keep it, and how you remove it. It covers data you give us directly and data we access from LinkedIn on your instruction. If you only visited our website and did not sign in, sections 4 to 8 do not apply to you.

1. Who we are

SpiritLabs Post is operated by [REGISTERED LEGAL NAME] ("SpiritLabs", "we", "us"), registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For anything in this policy, contact us at [email protected].

We are the data controller for account information you give us. Where we process LinkedIn Page data on behalf of a customer, we act as a processor on that customer's instructions.

2. What SpiritLabs Post does

SpiritLabs Post is a tool for managing a company's own LinkedIn Page. It lets an administrator of that Page schedule and publish posts, read and reply to comments left on those posts, and view engagement and follower analytics.

What it does not do. SpiritLabs Post does not send connection invitations, does not send or read direct messages, does not search for or collect LinkedIn profiles, and does not build contact lists. It has no access to any Page or profile that the person signing in does not already administer.

3. Information you give us

4. LinkedIn data we access

When an administrator connects a LinkedIn Page, they are taken to LinkedIn's own sign-in screen and shown exactly what they are approving. We never see, receive, or store LinkedIn passwords. LinkedIn returns an access token which we store encrypted and which you can revoke at any time.

With that authorisation we access only the following:

DataWhy we access itHow long we keep it
Your name, headline, photo and emailTo identify you in the application and secure your accountWhile your account is active
Pages you administerSo you can choose which Page to connect and we can verify your role on itWhile the Page is connected
Posts published to the connected PageTo show your content calendar and the results of each postWhile the Page is connected
Comments and reactions on those postsTo display them to you and let you reply as the PageRetrieved for display; not retained beyond the periods LinkedIn permits
Name, headline and photo of people who commentSo you can see who you are replying toRetrieved for display; not retained beyond the periods LinkedIn permits
Page analytics — impressions, reactions, followers, visitorsTo produce your performance reportingAggregate, non-identifying figures retained for reporting history

5. Limits we place on LinkedIn data

LinkedIn's platform terms restrict what may be done with member data, and we apply those limits as product rules rather than as policy language:

6. How we use your information

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content or your LinkedIn data to train machine learning models.

7. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the product, under contract and only for that purpose:

We may disclose data if legally required to do so. We will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

8. Where data is held

Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EU or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

9. Security

10. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Disconnecting a LinkedIn Page

You can disconnect at any time from Settings inside SpiritLabs Post, or by revoking access from LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services. On disconnection we stop all scheduled publishing, delete the stored access token immediately, and delete data associated with that Page within 30 days.

Deleting your account

Ask us and we delete your account, your content and all connected Page data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices.

If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with how we handled your request, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11. If you comment on a customer's Page

If you commented on a LinkedIn Page managed with SpiritLabs Post, your comment and your public profile name, headline and photo are shown to that Page's team so they can reply. We do not retain that data as a profile of you, do not add you to any list, and do not use it for marketing. To have it removed, delete your comment on LinkedIn or contact [email protected].

12. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on the application.

13. Children

SpiritLabs Post is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

14. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
